Til Death Do Us Part

Nick and Jessica’s love story began with a stolen selfie and grew into a life filled with purpose, partnership, and personality. Their ‘Til Death Do Us Part wedding was the perfect reflection of that bond: bold, heartfelt, and unapologetically them. From the smallest details to the biggest moments, every element celebrated their one-of-a-kind love.

Soulmate Selfie

Nick and Jessica’s love story is as unique as their wedding day.  One night while hanging out with friends, Nick spotted a phone charging on the couch and snapped a selfie with it. “Wow, whoever’s photo this is just got blessed,” he joked to the room. Jessica shook her head and smiled. “I knew it was my phone,” she recalls, “but I had no idea how important that idiot would become to me.”

Nearly five years later, their love has only deepened, and so have their careers. Supporting each other through every step in their developing careers and building a lasting relationship.

Goth and Glam

As Nick put it, “I see them at the beginning; she sees them at the end.” Nick is an EMT, while Jessica is a mortician and medical examiner. Despite the emotional weight their professions can carry, they’ve become each other’s strongest source of support, balancing the heaviness of their work with unwavering partnership.

Jessica has also carved out a unique space online as a TikTok creator under the handle @GothAndGlam, where she shares what it’s like being part of a first responder/last responder couple. With 17.2K followers, she offers an honest look at working in a traditionally male-dominated industry, blending dark humor with raw, real reflections on navigating an emotionally demanding profession.

Wedding Day Details

Nick and Jessica’s wedding was perfectly themed ‘Til Death Do Us Part, with nods to their professions woven throughout their celebration. From the moment guests arrived, every detail reflected their shared love for the unconventional. Deep red velvet couches set the tone in the foyer. These were perfectly paired with dramatic candelabras that instantly established the mood. Their seating chart was just as showstopping, titled “In This Life and the Next.” This piece, along with much of the signage, was thoughtfully sourced from none other than Till Death Do Us Party, tying the aesthetic together seamlessly.

The couple featured multiple guest books: a vintage phone booth, a fingerprint painting, and even a Ouija board that played to their theme. One of the night’s most unique moments was Jessica’s something blue, a vintage Chevrolet hearse for Nick and Jessica’s exit.

Their choreographed first dance was a showstopper, made even more memorable when Jessica surprised everyone by changing into a shorter dress with dark green sequin details. The dessert table was a decadent dream, complete with a three-tiered cake, brownies, cake pops, hanging rock candy, lollipops, and chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels, and potato chips. There was something sweet for everyone!

As the evening came to a close, Nick and Jessica shared one final, private dance alone in the ballroom, a quiet, romantic moment before rejoining guests outside for a sparkler send-off. And because no perfect night ends on an empty stomach, guests were treated to late-night cheesesteaks and churros before saying goodbye to The Bradford Estate.
